Garrett P. Yam, M.D.
Garrett joined Interlake Medical Center, PLLC in July 2009 after medical school and residency in Chicago.
Garrett was born in Syracuse, N.Y. He grew up in Bellevue and graduated from Newport High School where he was one of the top varsity swimmers. He completed pre-med at the University of Washington and obtained his M.D. degree from the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine in Chicago. He went on to complete a four year intensive combined residency program in both internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Illinois. He is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.
Since Garrett is board-certified in both internal medicine and pediatrics, he is uniquely qualified to take care of patients of all ages. In his spare moments, Garrett enjoys running, biking, swimming, and weight-training. He has participated in numerous triathlon events around the country.
Garrett is a caring, conscientious, and empathetic physician who is personable and knowledgeable, someone you can trust to take care of your health and the health of your loved ones.
